Are they or are they not?

I just want to know. I want them to say it plainly. Workers wonโ€™t say. But I wanna know.

IS MARDEL CLOSING?

My heart is conditionally broken. If they are, of course it’s broken. If theyโ€™re not closing. Itโ€™s fine. I just wanna know.

Walking into Mardel with deep discounts of up to 90% off fits the closing down vibe.

Iโ€™ve seen posts online where people in other states actually have store closing signs. We donโ€™t have those here!

So tell it to me plainly because thatโ€™s my favorite store and so inspirational to me.

I wish we went to Mardel more as a kid. Now, I pretty much live there. I’m there multiple times a month, sometimes in one week. It’s where I’ve bought new Bibles, new books, journals, gifts, shirts, and just so much stuff.

How is it… inspirational, though, Summer???

Well.

There’s always been this vibe for me when I’m there. I’m like, it’s explicitly a Christian store. How many of those are there, really?? And as a reader and a known daydreamer, I have this story idea in my head of a store just like Mardel. Maybe one day it’ll be published for you to read, but that’s a totally different story for a different day. ๐Ÿ™‚

So, yeah, it inspires me on my faith journey with all the resources and tools, but also creating an atmosphere to create a fictional story and world I want to live in.

I want to live in a world where there are Mardel stores.

This blog post has no reason other than airing my grief over a possible loss in an establishment. If you have any concrete information to provide to a Mardel lover, please let me know in the comments. I thank you for your time and I pray for continued prosperity for both you and Mardel.
