Sound familiar?

I’m following up on my previous post where I talked about my favorite store, Mardel, and the eerie vibes they’re giving off to their loyal shoppers like myself.

I was this close to sending a letter.

Luckily, ya girl didn’t have to.

We were in the store on Friday, and my mom asked the girl at checkout straight up if they were closing. This time they said they’re downsizing and remodeling.

That makes sense. I mean, they did use to have a lot of stuff. But not like in a bad way. It was never crammed in there. It’s a big store so I’m curious to see what downsizing actually looks like.

It was such a relief when I heard the news. Especially after just being in there. It was so bad. Honestly, maybe I should have taken pictures to show, but also, I don’t want to relive this time in history. 😂

They don’t have literally everything marked down. We still found items still at regular price, but a good amount is deeply discounted. Like what few books they have left in the back right corner of the store. But ya know what? All the ones I want I already have so… 🙂
