It started on a Friday – this three game weekend. Something else started on that Friday… a streak of losses.
The hurt, the fall, and the rain.
I can tell ya right now, there wasn’t really much rain, but it sounded good for a heading so I left it there.

A couple of weeks ago I posted about our weekend playing the Utah Grizzlies here and… wouldn’t ya know, we had another weekend against the same team! If you’re reading today’s post, read my previous post as well for further context 😂
Before all the craziness that was the three actual games… earlier last week, the 2021-2022 season schedule was released!!! SO MUCH HYPE.
This also prompted a discussion of actually getting legitimate season tickets to the game instead of buying or getting free tickets. Again… SO MUCH HYPE.
We shall see… really excited though! ☺️
This past weekend, we had a three game series against Utah at the BOK Center. Remember – this is the team that had misconduct and their actions resulted in game suspensions for two players and their coach just two weeks prior.
Sadly, we lost all three games.
I don’t have much to say, but I will say is mostly in the memes below. As usual…
The ref really did get hit with the puck and I’m shocked he was able to finish out the game – the hit was pretty early on in the game.
He was out the other games I believe though so he might have ended up pretty bruised after that.
This next meme was coocoo. Apparently Mike McKee unintentionally collided with a player that had exhibited misconduct previously. It was probably pure coincidence, but yet, it resulted in McKee receiving a major elbowing penalty (5min).
The amount of roughness from Utah is just… a bit ridiculous!
Unfortunately, we can’t keep a lead lately…

When we left Sunday’s afternoon game, by where we parked were these shoes… pretty random and funny 😂
There are only 3 games left in the regular season and I don’t think there’s any way to make the playoffs at this point. Looking forward to the next season (already!).
