Let me just start off by saying… these are strange and unbelievable times. What is believable is that God has a plan for all of this.
For I know the plan I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
I’ve had a week of working from home. I’m getting used to it, but I miss my people. I miss printing things, walking to the printer or scanning stuff to my email. I don’t get out of my desk chair enough and I think that’s what has made my legs hurt. It’s probably not the most ergonomic chair in the world either, if I’m being honest. I’m not staying hydrated, although I think I made an extra effort today, I still feel like I need more fluids. I feel like if I get up and walk I will lose productivity and I’m trying to be soooooo productive at home with my work. *sniff, sniff* The struggle is real.
Time at home has been going mostly fast. This could be a good thing except the reality that the time we’ll probably be cooped up is growing and not looking to end for weeks. I still haven’t been overly productive, still, but have managed to finish the “I Still Believe” memoir. What Is Summer Reading Now blog post coming soon for that!
Life just got a bit more… creative! I now have Adobe Photoshop which I am SO excited to learn, explore and use! I love taking photos with my iPhone. I’ve had Lightroom on my phone for a while now, maybe a year or so, and it has been the best app ever for enhancing my photos. I got the actual Photoshop for my laptop and have access to some other apps and tutorials. It’s made my week. I needed something exciting after all this pandemic flying around.
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105
May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10
