Greed is something we’ve all dealt with in some way – either we’ve been greedy at some point in our life or we’ve been effected by someone else’s greed. Sometimes we watch greed take down companies, that’s how bad it is. This kind of greed destroys more than an entity in business terms, it destroys lives that have been linked to the company.

“Wanting more of something” is probably a short way of saying greedy, right? Manically wanting something is probably closer to it. What it is you’re wanting can be reason for pause and needing to seriously assess the situation and look to God.

If you’re wanting more money, there’s no need. If you’re wanting to be closer to God, do it. If you’re wanting more quiet time, make an effort and set aside the time. More of anything worldly is pointless.

Greed causes fighting; trusting the Lord leads to prosperity.

Proverbs 28:25
