Welcome to the first Music Monday at NotYourSeason! Since I’m always listening to music and discovering new music, I thought I’d add a special category just for this! Plus, any excuse for alliteration. I’ll be sharing what I’m obsessing over (things on repeat) among whatever else strikes my fancy.
Today I’m highlighting the new song by Brandon Lake and Nick Jonas titled “The Author.” Guys… this is so good. It was a duet I didn’t know was coming and they sound amazing together! The lyrics in the song strike a chord with probably most Christians.
We’ve all questioned why things are happening, whether to us specifically or just in the world. Why can’t the things we want just go our way??? But at the end of the day, “who am I to question the pen in the hands of the Author?”
