You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

Technically this is about me, but I’m titled as YOU because I’m not really tripping anywhere right yet.

So to answer this writing prompt, I’ve actually always wanted to grow up and travel and specifically go on road trips in one direction or other – since I’m in the middle of the country and all. Seeing as how I’m 27, but still feel like a youngster with a grown up job, I don’t get out much.

My dream involves traveling the United States (of America, if you’re so curious) by car (or truck, but probably in a mustang, most likely my own). I want to visit popular landmarks and sites, be a tourist in my own country and be a nerd doing nerdy things.

In reality, I read about these things and would love to be an author to write about these things. It would be really cool to have those experiences to write about them from first hand experience, but I’m not there yet.

In college I dreamed of graduating and having a job to take vacation from to do traveling. My Dad and I wanted to do some traveling together and I was like oh yeah, someday. But then we never got the chance to do those things.

Maybe that should make me more apt to do those things now, but it doesn’t. I don’t want to travel alone so I don’t travel at all. 🙂

So… I’m not trippin’, you are. 😂
