That awkward moment I fell asleep before 10pm on NYE 😅 when I meant to have this typed and published before then… haha
My ending to 2021 is not what I thought it would be. I imagined days of reading, the normal workload and extra reading really.
‘Tis not the case y’all.
It’s New Years Eve and I’m not feeling 100% but I’m better from where I was just two days ago. I’ve been really down, slacking on medication and prolonging all this because of it. I hadn’t gotten outside in days, hadn’t driven a car in a week and actually hadn’t seen the daylight in about two days because I was staying in my room with blackout curtains. If you needed a reminder that fresh air and/or sunlight is important, here it is.
On a brighter note… I did win an ebook from one of my favorite authors, but not by her… haha. It was a nice surprise!
Thank you, Rachael Bloome!!

Just haven’t started it yet.
I met my 50 book reading goal for 2021 months ago! I’ve reached 76 books – look for my December book post in the coming days. I was looking to get to 80 books, but life has other plans.
Not really the resolution type, as I’ve stated before but since I started this reading goal thing last year, it’s gotten me in the mood for goals going forward.
For 2022, I think I’m going to keep my 50 book reading goal. I was going to up it to 75, but I think I need to get out more and experience life outside of a book more than I do. We’ll see how well that philosophy is implemented this year though.
I need to be better about daily reading my Bible. The second half of the year has been a struggle for me – in all ways possible and I need to really be better with my spiritual walk.
Speaking of walking, I need to go outside more. I need to walk more. I need fresh air. I’ve let become a habit of secluding myself in my room just reading instead of doing things. It’s really fun, but it’s not healthy for sustained living…
Here’s to a better, healthier year ahead.

I pray that you feel better! Happy new year! ♥️🥳🙌🙏
Thank you – Happy New Year!! 🎆🎈🎊
