My company has “Change Champions” courses all the time and there’s been tens of classes that have graduated to this point. I was asked to enroll in one of the upcoming courses by my manager and I’ve been iffy about it because – oh no, what if I have to speak? She had brought it up before and it wasn’t a huge deal. Now, considering I’ve been promoted… I feel it’s important to take the plunge into new waters.

I’ve enrolled and since it’s all online through the current pandemic, I think I’ll be okay. Who would have thought I’d be thankful for such a thing??

Today I received an email from one of the facilitators letting the enrollees know that there were 5 books that we would be using as reading material in the course. They would be mailing these out soon.

FIVE BOOKS. This is like my dream come true.

I love school. I love books. I love learning.

THIS IS PERFFFFF.

I don’t know what the books are as of yet, but I’m excited to see how the course progresses and how I grow – as an individual and in my role as a supervisor. I hope that what I learn, I can apply it to my every day work and life to help those around me in some way.

I’m sure I’ll have more to say during the 12 week course that begins next week. Ah! So excited!!
