Why do we do the things we do?

Why do we obey God? Is it out of love or because we don’t want to go to hell or because we just want the reward of Heaven?

Why then do we want to go to Heaven? Because it sounds nice or because we love God and want to spend eternity with him?

Today’s post is full of questions… only because I don’t have all the answers. The Word does. If we align our lives with His Word, our lives become His possession and we start living for Him out of love.

And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.

Deuteronomy 6:5
