Some days, the way I see people talk about other people and to other people amazes me. They can completely tear someone else down and many of times they don’t know that other person personally. Regardless… it doesn’t matter. The way we talk and the words we use are important, they are to me at least.
Twisting of words and hateful, derogatory words are used by Satan to bring division and tension to God’s people.
Don’t let someone’s words get to you. At the end of the story, remind yourself of God’s truths and what He says about you. The devil won’t win unless we let him.
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.
Ephesians 4:31
Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction.
Proverbs 18:20
Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
Ephesians 4:29
The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.
Proverbs 10:11
Peace and love.
