When I first saw this, I believe I was looking for a mystery and this seemed like an okay choice. I didn’t know if it was going to be much of a mystery. Maybe that’s why it sat on my shelf for so long… but anyway, I picked it up (with its beautiful cover!) and fell in love with this book and Colleen Coble’s writing! Again, another author I had to order the rest of this series and will probably order more of her books in the future.

This was one of those page turners – I could NOT put it down. It was so good, suspenseful and the twists it took. The whole time I didn’t know who it was who did it! As in… I didn’t know who until it was revealed. It was crazy!

The story itself had depth and emotion. There was familial conflict and hurts to deal with. Some of those hurts from the past we’re connected to the present day mystery and it was just mind blowing how it all played out.

I literally can’t say anything more because otherwise it would be revealing too much when you should just go read itttttt.

I can say that it was like a roller coaster of suspense and feels that I couldn’t get off of. It was over before I knew it and I immediately looked up the next book!
