Gifts Are Not Required

There is soooo much gifting during Christmas, at least for me. There’s gifting at work Christmas parties, obviously family and friends too. It can get overwhelming. Not only that, but sometimes you just don’t have the funds to do all that you’d like to give.

It’s okay!

Gifts are not required for this holiday, nor any holiday.

Our greatest gift given to us has always been Jesus Christ. How could we ever top that? Why would we?

Maybe this season, if you’re feeling like you just can’t give and you may not be in the gifting mood this year, just give glory and praise to Him. He deserves it anyway and why not just double up on the helping this month? We have so much to praise Him for, so much to be thankful for. All because of our Savior. ♥

Another note here would be that it’s not the gifts you bring to the table, it’s who is seated at the table with you.It’s those who celebrate the birth of Jesus with you over food and conversation.

Loneliness can be something many experience this time of year too, so be inclusive and try not to have a blue Christmas. ♥

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
