It’s not what you eat, it’s who you eat with.
Raise your virtual hand if you eat during Christmas just as much (or more…) as Thanksgiving??
Do you normally eat alone? If you do, I’m sad for you… but in most cases, you’re not alone, right? I’m pretty picky with food, in case you couldn’t tell. Mayo and sour cream are the worsssssst. Other stuff I can usually tolerate. Just the thought… I need counseling.
Food is better than no food. Eating with the home skillets is just as important.
I hope you spend this Christmas time surrounded by family and friends, the important people in your life. Spread the love. If you know someone close to you is going without company during the holiday, invite them over for dinner too.
If you’re like me and get picky about food options, maybe just bring your own food to the gathering – being there is more important than the food! Although, I have never done this before so I’m not THAT picky 🙂
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life – whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:25
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
Acts 2:42
