Santa Ain’t Real but Secret Santas Are

Have you or someone you know been on the receiving end of a Secret Santa? Or maybe you’ve actually been the Secret Santa?

It’s no secret (unless you’re like somehow 5 and reading this and happen to believe in Santa) that Santa is NOT real. (Sorry if this is new to you….) Being a Secret Santa is very real and these types of Santa’s pop up this time of year especially.

A Secret Santa goes above and beyond just being nice or generous. Sometimes these Santa’s have been known to pay off lay-away accounts and buy several people’s bills or pay for many people’s orders behind them in a drive-thru. They remain anonymous and go unknown, although their gift of kindness and generosity lives in our hearts forever.

I was once the recipient of this type of gesture. I want to say it was at Chick-fil-a but I’m not positive. It would not surprise me though. Some of the people that frequent the establishment are just as holy as the workers of God… JUST SAYING lol

Since I’ve been on the receiving end of a Secret Santa experience, have I actually done the same for someone? I can’t recall honestly and it makes me kind of sad that I didn’t pass it along. When stuff like that happens, it’s only right to spread the kindness you receive onto someone else. Maybe not right away even, just sometime. So maybe it’s not too late for me.
