These are a couple of my favorite things…
Coming home from work of a late afternoon, my grandma usually has dinner already cooked (unless we’re eating out). I’m so grateful to have her and for everything she does for the family, without hesitation or complaint.
Anyway, the best days are when we turn it on Hallmark to watch a movie, particularly one of my favorites, and scalloped potatoes are on my dinner plate.
Question… why are scalloped potatoes never served at restaurants??? Have you been to one that served them? If so, I want to know which one because scalloped potatoes are one of my favorite food items. Really anything potato related (EXCEPT THEM SWEET POTATOES, just no).
Hallmark is just quality television for me. It has drama, half the time a life lesson perhaps (?) and of course, romance 😁
We all know how a Hallmark movie ends, but it’s still enjoyable.
I know how scalloped potatoes make me happy and I wouldn’t mind being happy every day, if you get what I’m saying…. or is that too much starch?
I like Hallmark too. I especially love their Christmas movies! And I like scalloped potatoes. Now that you mention it, I don’t recall seeing them at any restaurants either.
Yes, and they’re playing Christmas more throughout the year now – I guess they’ve become so popular!
Restaurants literally have every other form of potatoes except scalloped! Lol
