My mom had me order something for her and it was a small bottle, but Amazon delivered it in a large package. That was the only thing in the order and package. She couldn’t believe they did that.

I told her, “They said they’d deliver it [quickly], not that it would make sense.”

Isn’t that how God is?

We ask for something, make our petitions to Him and He promises us He will answer. He doesn’t promise to answer them the way we want or a way that will “make sense.” It works out that however He answers our prayers is for our good.

If you’ve been praying, He hears you. He does! He will answer. Sometimes the answer is delivered in unexpected packages. Be willing to expect and accept the unexpected from our gracious God.

When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 34:17

For there is a time and a way for everything, although man’s trouble lies heavy on him.

Ecclesiastes 8:6

Rest assured that His time is perfect, even when we’re weigh down. He walks beside us and delivers us to the other side with His strength.
