I can’t imagine a time where America doesn’t exist. I mean, I live here. My entire life would change if it just didn’t exist.

This month, America celebrated her 250th birthday. Which seems like a long time considering no one from 250 years ago is still around. In the grand scheme of things, 250 years is a drop in the bucket.

2000+ years ago, a man walked the earth that changed our lives. The Word of God, in the flesh, came and saved us with His sacrifice. Before Him, was His cousin, John the Baptist who prepared the way by God’s divine planning.

From the beginning, in Genesis, God has been working in the human life to bring glory to His name. From the beginning of time to now, He’s been working. Thousands of years.

The longevity of His Word has and will continue to stand the test of time. Even if one day our great country falls, His Word has proven over the centuries and millennia that it’s the very foundation of life on earth.

What a gift it is to have His Word accessible to us. So many other countries don’t experience that. Thank God we’re free indeed. Thank God we have Christ.
