I’ve Been Fangirling

Are we surprised though?

I’ve been fangirling over books a lot lately. I haven’t finished many books, but I’ve definitely been fangirling over them.

Like how I bought a million books (slight exaggeration OBVIOUSLY) and started one of them and then still haven’t finished?

Or how one of the books I read years ago got turned into a movie so I fangirled over that and made my family watch it on TV. 😂

Or how I bought a box of Fruit of the Spirit Devotional Journals without knowing what it was, but then fangirled before and after I opened it?????

Or. OR. What about the houses that are so far out of my price range, I don’t even know people with that kind of money? 😂 I love looking at homes though so the Parade of Homes is one of my favorite things to experience every year. A girl can dream.

This post is all about what has me excited in life. It’s also in pictures because that’s what I do.

My recent online haul from last month is below. Which followed by another minor haul not photographed and then a trip to Books A Million that resulted in three more books. I’m fine, thanks. My stack of books fell over, but I’m fine! 😂😂

Meet Me In The Margins is a book by Melissa Ferguson that I read a few years ago that I absolutely loved. I was so excited when I heard it would be turned into a movie!

As you can guess, the book was better, but the movie was well done and the actors were amazing. I love Merritt Patterson in movies.

As I mentioned in a previous post about my beloved store Mardel, they have deep discounts going on during their storewide clearance. I’ve been seeing this box of devotional journals for a long time, but I took a tenth glance and looked at what the discount was. Worth it. I didn’t even know what it was really until I got home because it was a closed box with cellophane. The back description didn’t help me much in determining, but man, oh man… I got home and was so excited. Inside you’ll find a journal for each fruit of the spirit. The colors on the box correspond to one of the journals inside. Inside each journal are passages of scripture relating to that fruit followed by a few questions to get you deeper into what God has for you there. Ugh, so good. I’ve loved using these journals so much so far. Highly recommend for you or as a gift for someone else if you’re in need of an idea!

Here’s some photos from the million dollar homes we toured!

A beautiful master bedroom
An upstairs room had built in bunk areas for the kids!
This was the hallway… inside the master suite!
This house literally had a reading room!!! It was amazing. It looks dark, but with all the dark coloring, it’s actually well lit for reading.
Another reading nook form a different house
A second room you get to from the closet of one of the bedrooms!
I loooove second passageways! This was just one of the many in this home that looked like a bookcase but was really a door.

Most recently I ordered myself a new mouse. No, not one of those! 🙂

My mouse I’d been using was a mustang mouse with some broken side mirrors and kind of sunk in windows. It also wouldn’t scroll properly which is no bueno. I thought maybe it was time for a new one. I couldn’t find a new mustang mouse…. At all. No mustangs. BUT

I found this REALLY cute mouse and I’m LOVING it!!

And I ordered a new mouse pad for at home. ❤️

This is what my Mustang’s engine looks like on the mouse pad!

So I guess this is what being in your 30s is like now. Getting excited over a new shower curtain.

I first ordered my mom one when she seen one online, but then when I seen it in person at her house, I also had to order one!

I never knew these existed 🤣

No hooks needed at the top? What world is this?

A liner that’s connected by snaps? What?

What a game changer for this girl.

So much of life is negative, but I think it’s amazing how many little things I’ve been able to find joy in and fangirl over.

What are some things you’ve been fangirling over or that’s brought you joy lately?

    What a fun post! 💃
I’m waiting for you to read the Falling for Autumn series so I will know if I should read them! 🤣
I did wind up reading Meet Me in the Margins, and then watching the movie. Agree – the book was better. But I understand it’s very hard to cram all that was in the book into 90 minutes. So they did the best they could. 📚
The Fruit of the Spirit devotional journals do look really amazing! 🍇
Those million dollar houses though! 😍 thanks for sharing the pics. I love them all. Especially the reading rooms and hidden rooms.
I love the colors on the mouse. So sorry you had to stop using the mustang mouse. But you still have a cool mousepad 🐎
I didn’t know they had shower curtains like that either! 😱

I am SO excited for that series!! Should be good, but I’ll be letting you know 😉
Right, it would be hard to cram all the details into like an hour and a half movie. It wasn’t what I pictured in my head, but it was good.
The reading rooms make my heart happy. ❤️
Right!? I’m sure the shower curtains are other places, but I got ours from Target! $20 😎 thought that was a good price for a solid product. So happy with it!
