Iโm not currently interested in vitamins. I literally cannot. Mostly because the only thing I remember to do in the morning thatโs consumed by myself is drink my Arbonne energy fizz to start my day off hydrated and caffeinated.
Iโve never been a big vitamin taker. The idea sounds great.
As great it sounds, I’ve decided I don’t need vitamins. This isn’t anything new. I haven’t taken vitamins in over a decade. What started as something just simply hard to remember to take, turned into me not seeing the benefit. Our bodies have vitamins present based on what we consume. When you go get tested at the doctor, you may be low in one area while someone else is low in another. You may be taking the same vitamin though. Why take the same vitamin if you need different things? Which gets into a whole thing, but see where I’m going? Iโve also felt worse when Iโve taken vitamins. Especially when Iโve taken vitamin C. My energy fizz has vitamins in it as well so if I take a vitamin C chewable or drink, I feel blah. I havenโt had great experiences, obviously.
(Maybe Iโll take a vitamin when Iโm older.)
My real health supplement is laughter. If you laugh a lot in life, youโre more likely to be healthy. So most people say, donโt they? Thatโs what I say. I’m not about looking up the stats today. ๐
NO STATS, JUST VIBES.
Laughter is universal (generally speaking. . .) and everyone benefits from a good laugh.
Recently, at work, in our team meeting, literally the question I chose from our list of questions as facilitator of our ice breaker questions was what is something that made you laugh recently.
This should have been easy. ๐
I even gave myself and the team hours to prepare. Previous questions I had just brought up at the beginning of our meeting and that hasnโt worked out great. So I finally remembered to email out the question beforehand.
I never know what to say ๐คฃ but this one was even worse because I laugh at so much and itโs usually so dumb, they probably wouldnโt get a kick out of it like I did. Itโs not as funny sometimes when you try to explain. PLUS, I canโt remember half the stuff I laugh at.
Laughter keeps us sane in the midst of our trials. Itโs like a simple joy to have – to find the humor in the every day and the hardships that come our way.
Speaking of my group at work, I regularly make memes about the crazy things that happen. Lately itโs been a lot so I feel like the memes have taken over the group. ๐ My manager will remind me when we talk about a situation that this is meme worthy. Iโll be like, noted.
At the end of the day, if it made it to a meme, it was worth the trouble because it brought a laugh for us.
Iโm grateful for laughter. Itโs been a huge aspect of my life for as long as I can remember and has a lot to do with my dad who was a jokester. Laughter shaped my childhood and laughter was still present in the end of his life. He cried, but he laughed even harder. Life is short but we can have joy in this world and rest knowing this isnโt even the end and weโll have joy everlasting.
Here are some recent memes:

While I may add to my health supplements over time, laughter I hope will always be present. I may not be a stand up comedian (partially because speaking in front of people is my least favorite thing), but I enjoy bringing laughter to other people as well.
If youโre going through a rough patch, Iโm right there with ya. Iโm also available to create memes if you so need one. ๐
I hope you find joy and laughter today. ๐ค Jesus is right there beside you in the fire. Have you turned to Him?
Have a great rest of your week!!

Laughter really is good medicine. You donโt have to look it up. Itโs true! I love the ice breaker question. And I love that you are often coming up with memes. Thatโs awesome. You are helping your own health and your coworkers too. I need to try to laugh more. Thanks for the reminder.
