For this year, I’ve chosen the word “ENCOURAGE” as my word.

Late last year, I felt like I wasn’t that encouraging. Sometimes… yeah. But consistently positive and encouraging? It didn’t feel that way to me. So this year I’d like to work on being more uplifting and encouraging of those around me.

In the same aspect, I’d like to look for encouragement regularly through the reading of God’s Word. It would be easy to take the encouragement there and spread it around, right?

Today I’m encouraged by 1 Thessalonians 5 that’s full of encouragement for us! We’re not in darkness, so let’s not live there. We have the light within us, so let’s spread it!
