When You Know The Answer

I enjoy watching trivia shows like Jeopardy, People Puzzler, Master Minds… for some reason. I’m not even good at trivia most of the time, although I do admit I get a lot right on People Puzzler. Definitely don’t get much correct or even try to guess on Master Minds. Those peeps are geniuses!

I used to feel like I knew absolutely nothing in elementary school and middle school. My dad would have Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on while we waited on dinner. Dad never spoke out and told them the answers, so I don’t know if he played along or he just enjoyed the vibe. Me though? I thought we were just watching really smart people answer questions. Which is essentially what we were doing anyway, but now I know stuff and it’s more fun.

This week, while watching Celebrity Jeopardy, a question was asked and I didn’t know it. It was about vitamins and minerals. I’m perfectly fine admitting there’s a ton of stuff I don’t know. This was one of those times. Then, good ole Ken said the answer and I was like WOW!!! It makes so much sense now that we know the answer!!

And now I’m getting to my point. 😏

In life, we’re like me in this scenario. Not knowing all the answers, kind of just watching things play out and basically just cheering the contestants on. We have questions to life – big or small. We’re not given all the answers. We rely on faith and God’s timing.

Timing. Sometimes that’s all it takes for answers to our questions to be revealed. God’s timing though, not ours.

While we’re in the waiting, we can search and keep asking God – bringing him our concerns so that we’re not weighed down by worry and anxiety – because He doesn’t get tired of us being in communication with Him!

We can also rest in knowing that what’s confusing for us now will one day be made clear!! That’s something to look forward to.

I hope that whatever you’re going through with unanswered questions that you’ll be comforted by God and be at peace with all that you have answers to now to take the next step toward. ❤️

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

  1. Thank you for this. It brought me comfort. You’re right, we don’t always have the answers. But we can still walk in peace because we walk with the One who does have all the answers. Love it! 🤍
