Are you conscious to the scientific reality that we rotate around the sun? That each year marks one trip for us on earth?

I’m not the brightest when it comes to history or science – they don’t come easy for me whatsoever. I think about sometimes how days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and months slowly into years until it becomes a norm you can’t slow down.

To answer my question, I am not conscious to the fact that we rotate at all, just like I don’t even think about how high I’ve been off the ground before while in a plane. Some things I just don’t want to know, Lol.

Today would have been my Dad’s 72nd birthday. It‘s the third birthday of his we’ve spent apart.

A lot has happened since God called him to his eternal home. Sometimes that divide seems awfully wide.

Today, I’m thinking about how at this moment, I can be so connected to God through my every day life through my personal relationship with Him – my thoughts, prayers, worship, reading – and yet, with my earthly father I only have a connection through memories right now (and maybe dreams).

I had 23, almost 24, solid years with my Dad and that was all I needed because God provides all our needs. I believe that.

Today, I’ll be relaxing and probably reading. Might do something fun (but isn’t that reading???) , we’ll see. 🙂
