There he will remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth. He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign LORD will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The LORD has spoken!
Isaiah 25:1-12
Iโve been in Isaiah lately and this was the passage of Praise for Judgement and Salvation.
These two, judgement and salvation, go hand in hand. Without judgement looming over us, we would have no need for salvation. Praise God for paving a way for salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
John 3:16-17
Jesus bore the cross and died for each of us – that whoever believes in Him will be saved and will live forever with God. Our God is eternal and His children will be eternally with Him as well. Isnโt that wild? Heโs so gracious to us. We donโt deserve it, but out of this unfathomable love, we are gifted this inheritance.
Just after that in Isaiah, he goes on to writeโฆ
In that day the people will proclaim, โThis is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us!โ This is the LORD, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!โ
Isaiah 25:9
Because Heโs the gracious Father, providing our every need just as He did in all of human history, we can trust Him. โค๏ธ
Of course, I canโt leave here without a good and parallel song by Phil Wickham. ๐ This song came to mind since we sing this at church pretty often.

We have so much to be thankful for and much to praise Him for! ๐๐ค๐ And I love the song. Thank you, Summer!
