TBR List: Til Death Do Us Part

on

I’m currently finishing up I’d Rather Be Reading by Anne Bogel and her 10th chapter of the book titled “Bookworm Problems” hit me right in the feels. Multiple times.

The one that really got me was this… about the TBR list.

Y’all.

My TBR list keeps growing.

At this rate, yes, I will probably die before I get them all read.

Should I plan now to only read the most important things?

It’s not like I know when my last day here is.

I must read them all – but how?

My time is so limited, that of a vapor.

And yet…

I have the time to read, also, a limited amount of books…

I know I can read about 50 a year though, seeing as how I’m almost to that goal already and it’s almost September… a few more months to go.

Anyway.

These are my thoughts and my current mental dilemma.

  1. I mostly agree with you, except that you read faster than me, so 50 year I cannot achieve. And I don’t know if this is good or bad, but I have now discovered that I can also read free ebooks on an app called Libby through my library. So I now have an open door to more books. Some people truly don’t understand. But when you have a TBR list a mile long, the struggle is real. I feel your pain.

      100%!!
I listen to some audibly (you know! Haha), but I haven’t in a while now. Works been too busy for me to concentrate on an audible while I work.
It’s also a slow month for me and my books. I keep buying them though…. 😂
