Hello there! I’m Summer. I graduated from college in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In my spare time away from my accounting career, I enjoy reading, watching hockey, driving my dream car (2014 Mustang GTP), spending time with my family and learning more ways to love and glorify God.
At the end of 2019, I lost one of my all time biggest supporters, my Dad, to cancer unexpectedly, which was, and continues to be, the toughest thing to endure. You can read about those journey milestones and moments in my post category “Remembering My Dad” and sometimes in “Grief Experiences.” Even though the pain that lingers on earth is seen as tragedy, we hold onto the hope and promise that there is a Heaven and this is not our home, but just a place to pass through and help make Heaven more crowded.
In the summer of 2020 I embarked on another journey and became an Independent Scentsy Consultant. Since then, it’s been a lot of fun to have a family of other consultants to be encouraged by and build a successful business alongside. I blog about updates and milestones regarding my Scentsy journey in the post category titled “It Just Makes Scents,” because that makes sense. 🙂
I’m currently (not consistently) writing a series of novels that I hope to one day share with you! My books will all be Christian fiction and written under the pen name: Nevada Winters.
