You’re probably wondering from the title where I am writing from today. Waiting room? Seriously? Why? How? Are you okay?

Well, first of all, I’m in Oklahoma which is the opposite of cool right now. It’s hot. It’s been hot for many days now and I am done. Since we say it feels like an oven in these parts, I guess I can say I am well done now. 🙂

This is, in my very humble and interesting opinion, the worst time of year. I get it, my name is Summer, but I was born in the winter, so me and summer have had beef from birth apparently.

So, the waiting room? it’s the too many months long wait between end of season to the beginning of the next season of hockey. Mid to late October? Too far away.

This stretch of time is literally burning up. We need a fan. We need ice. We need some action!

God gave all hockey fans a test of patience. That’s all this is.

So far, our local team has signed a few returning players, which is exciting. Has Duggie Lagrone been signed? No. BUT I AM FINE. He said he’d be back! I believe him!

Our player signings are: Josh Nelson, Tyler Poulsen and Keegan Iverson, Michael Davies.
