As promised, here are all my recommendations for your Christmas reading season based on my reads since we met here last. 🙂
Throughout the year, I’ve accumulated a good list of books about or set at Christmas. This year, that’s 40 books!
I know… not only a long post, but also a LOT of recommendations. I did NOT realize I had read so many books throughout the year or I wouldn’t have read more Christmas books right before creating this post this week. So anyway…

Cute, quick novella.
Single All The away by Kate Watson
Such a fun read! Romantic comedy full of heart, learning and growth, while accepting the imperfections of life.
Mistletoe for Felicity by Sally Britton
Adorable marriage of convenience story full of hope and love that gives you all the feels.
The Grinch Next Door by Rachel E Scott
Age gap. Forced proximity. Enemies to loves. Cute and clean Christmas romance.
The Holiday Stand-In by Kortney Keisel
Twins. Right feels, wrong brother. Cute, its clean, but might have innuendos.
Bidding on a Second Chance by Emily Conrad
A man in uniform. Trusting in God, faith elements. Difficult family dynamics. Any fan of Emily Conrad will love anyway.
A Snowbound Courtship by Holli Jo Monroe
A cute read!!
Snowflakes and Shenanigans by Audra Wells
Another cute read. One of the books that got me interested in Audra Wells!
Rent Yourself an Elf by Savannah Scott
Such a cute and short novella!! A must read.
Secrets in the Snowstorm by Miranda D Nelson
An absolute favorite from this season and series!!
Christmas at Northbury Inn by Courtney Willis
A great Christmas read! Old friends reconnect.
The Christmas Letters by Jenny Proctor
One of my favorites that turned me into a Jenny Proctor fan after being skeptical.
Christmas Like This by Carina Taylor
Enemies to lovers, banter and tension. A good read!
Snowflake Wishes by Kasey Stockton
A cute novella that got 5 stars from me.
An Accidental Christmas Match Up by Rachel John
I LOVED THIS ONE.
Cabin Crush by Kasey Stockton
One of those that doesn’t have great reviews online, but one I genuinely loved.
Guarded by the Hero by Mandi Blake
From the Heroes of Freedom Ridge series that I will continue to recommend!
Merry Kismet by Anneka R Walker
Enjoyable read with likable characters and hilarious dynamics.
Solo for the Season by Martha Keyes
Cute read for the holidays!!
Persuaded by the Hero by Elle E. Kay
Loved!! Sweet story of redeeming work of God.
Romanced by the Hero by Liwen Y Ho
A fast love story, sweet and packed with details.
Faith in the Hero by Jessie Gussman
Love story between nanny and single dad. Loved.
Never Mind the Mistletoe by MJ Padgett
Loved the romance in second half. Quick read novella.
An Unexpected Boyfriend for Christmas by Janette Rallison
One of my favorite authors and a cute, clean read.
Merry Takes Main Street by MJ Padgett
Loved this read – does have grief involved. Faith seeking involved.
Second Chance with the Hero by Liwen Y Ho
A great read form a favorite series.
Inspired by the Hero by Elle E Kay
Loved how characters relied on God.
Hope for the Hero by Mandi Blake
Grumpy sunshine trope masterpiece.
Running to the Hero by Hannah Jo Abbott
Loved from the first chapter.
Blind Date with the Hero by Tara Grace Ericson
Friends to more.
The Mistletoe Bluff by Emily Schneider
This is book two in a series, and though you don’t need to read the first one, there are mentions from book one.
Meddling the Mistletoe by Liz Johnson
Adorable read with hilarious characters and misunderstandings.
Marrying the Billboard Cowboy by Tara Grace Ericson
A modern day mail order bride type story with all the sibling banter. Shows how God delivers us into peace and His plans for us.
Healing the Cowboy by Mandi Blake
A best friends to more love story at Christmas.
Jingle Bell Jilt by Mindy Burbidge Strunk
Jilted at the altar and finding love again in the most unexpected way.
One Small Secret by Esther Hatch
Amazing characters and more misunderstandings. I loved the MMC in this one.
All’s Fair in Love and Christmas by Sarah Monzon
One of my all time favorites!! Relatable and sweet read.
Matchmaking the Cowboy by Emily Conrad
A faith-filled romance with humor.
One Foggy Christmas by Kortney Kiesel
This is different than Kortney’s other books, but SO GOOD. There were dashes of humor in their relationship that started it all and then we get into the serious stuff like she wakes up from a coma and doesn’t remember her husband. This is a more serious and sad read with a happy ending.
Christmas with a Crank by Courtney Walsh
A grumpy sunshine story full of heart and humor. Our MCs both learn things about life and about themselves.
I will be reading more Christmas novels between now and Christmas of course, but those will be stored up for NEXT year’s post! Follow along the rest of the season for more book recommendations via this blog or on GoodReads (@notyourseason).
Because of that, I’m adding another section of Christmas books I’m planning to read this season or by the next post just so you know what I have on my radar! More than this, but these are top of the list and will most likely get read, no doubt.
