“Falling up” is the title of something, but I can’t remember and it’s too irrelevant to Google 😂
I seen a post about falling down and how we look up when we do. The post went on to say our lives spiritually are no different. When we fall, why don’t we look up and seek God?
Someone commented “Why should we always look for help from God? What if God wants us to be strong and fight against evil.”
This someone not only used a lower case g, but also is probably just looking for an argument, which I’m not prone to do, therefore I didn’t reply back and I’m posting my thoughts here. 😏
The part asking what if God wants us to be strong and fight against evil is obviously counter to what Scripture says.
If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
2 Corinthians 11:30
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
Romans 8:26
We are only strong by God who gives us strength. Strength to endure is a gift and comes through the Spirit. Fighting against evil, a spirit so dark, can only be cast out by light which we don’t have on our own.
God is our Creator and if we depend on ourselves or anything man-made, we’re denying our own purpose – to glorify God.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91:2
I trust in the one true God that’s trustworthy and strong, who gives me strength when I am weak.
Remember when you’re down, physically or emotionally, look up to God. Pray that He would guide you and comfort you in the will He’s set before you.

Much better to have Jesus fight the battle because he has already defeated Satan

Amen! Very well said! Until they have a relationship with God, it might be hard for others to understand how He is our anchor each and every day.
