The Dilemma I Gave To God

I posted this past week about my writing dilemma. ~> My Current Writing Dilemma

I was frustrated and a bit discouraged in my writing. With the encouraging words from my friends here and outside of blogging, I prayed about it and refocused on what I can do in the waiting and process, which is just write.

Sometimes all we need to do is focus on whatโ€™s important and in this case, for NaNoWriMo, itโ€™s just word count.

Iโ€™m writing every day even if itโ€™s just a little bit. I had a few thousand already typed but most of what Iโ€™ve typed is all this month. Iโ€™m typing out scenes and pieces of the story thatโ€™s been in my head for months now.

I donโ€™t have word count goals per seโ€ฆ but I am pushing out quite a bit even while Iโ€™m working on three book ideas simultaneously. It may not be wise, but I get excited about where one is going and then an idea forms for a side character in one which is a main character in the other. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Itโ€™s going to work out and I feel so much better than I did just a week ago.

Thank you, friends, for believing in me and providing encouraging words and helping me focus on what’s important – Jesus. โค๏ธ

Hereโ€™s a vague word count update on what Iโ€™m working on:

12,000+ on Book One

2,300+ on Book Two

3,500+ on Book Three
