Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

Well, this popped up and I had to answer. 😏

If I invented a new holiday, it would be Reading Awareness Day. As in, please be aware that if you’re not a reader, everyone else who is is reading today.

This day would be some day I haven’t decided yet.

The reason for this day is because not only does it promote reading, it also gives avid readers a special day to just read. No interruptions. Everything shuts down for readers.

Because I have more vacation time than I know what to do with, most of my vacation days taken during the year are filled with reading or reading related activities. They’re some of my favorite days. I also have 2 personal holidays to use each year and you know what I use those for. 😏 My own Personal Reading Awareness Day. Thanks! LOL
