It’s another post inspired by Chick-fil-a meals. 🥰
While I was at dinner with my mom and grandma at our local Chick-fil-A, my grandma commented that in her meal, she received bigger strips of chicken and bigger pieces of fries than the last few trips.
I always think and joke about how Chick-fil-A relates to Jesus because hellooooo, clearly Jesus food. 🤣
In this case, I thought about our blessings from God. Sometimes they’re smaller than we would like. Other times they’re bigger than we expect.
In either case, God knows the right amount of blessing for that particular time. What we consider big or small is actually perfect.
Maybe we look over at someone else’s meal, their cup, and see that they were blessed in a different way – they received 13 pieces in their 12 count nugget – and we envy that. Why not me, God?
I have to check myself in real life, because in some areas, I see others thriving where I’m not and only want to be. The truth is that God just hasn’t had that in my story (yet – don’t actually know, though).
No matter the size of your chicken or your fries, you can rest in knowing that the Creator of all things has given you the perfect portion for your needs.
This has been brought to you with a Chick-fil-A sized blessing. Have a great Wednesday!
“From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.”
John 1:16
