The question

Jesus said He was going to prepare a special room in His “Father’s home” for each of His followers – what do you think your room will look like? Referenced in John 14:2.

The answer

This is both easy and hard to answer. I feel like every one of these questions at this point is hard to answer since they’re mostly, if not fully, speculation on our part.

In all honesty, I don’t think about what the “house” will look like in Heaven since it seems pretty irrelevant compared to the fact that we’re there to spend eternity with our Father and to glorify Him.

To answer this question though with any dreams I may have about what I would want in my room, because God cares about us and knows more than anyone else how different and unique He made us… here’s what I would want.

Obviously, I would say Jesus would hook a sister up with a library as her bedroom. I would have a library with a loft for my bed area. A hammock chair for the perfect reading hung up in the corner of the room.

In those small ways, my little dreams and needs would be taken care of.

Do I believe that that’s what I’ll have or really need in Heaven? Nah. But I do believe that God would consider it. Lol
