I grew up listening to “oldies” and classic rock. In this neck of the woods, we’ve got a few channels that play some jams. Over time, I’m sure I’ll talk about these songs that remind me of my childhood – I have fond memories before the age of 10! It was a beautiful time to be alive and why is a story for another time.

Why this song? Well, being a romantic like I am, a throwback to my last post, I enjoy listening to sad love songs and just love songs that are simple and sweet. Perhaps this falls in that line – not sad though. I remember listening to this as a kid and back then, I didn’t much know all the lyrics of songs, but still, they drew me in. Similar to Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer which has popped up in a blog post before if I recall.

You’re the Inspiration lyrics though hit me when I’m inspired and I think of the word “inspiration” which in turn plays this song in my head. Because that’s a normal thing to do, I guess?

I’m currently inspired by someone.

Have you ever met someone that just inspires you? Them just being themselves motivates you to learn and grow, pushing you to be a better you?

I know someone who is easy to talk to, has a solid foundation with the Lord and coincidentally says hilarious things so I think that’s a great combination and very inspiring.
