Deep Breaths

Yesterday was a rough day.

It was mostly just a mentally rough day. I felt like everything was going wrong (with work) and I couldn’t do anything right. Then things would look up, then something else would happen.

I broke down and had a few tears when a woman was rude to me in a voicemail. I’m not okay with the situation, but… Let it go, Summer.

I took some deep breaths, walked away from my desk (I also needed to stretch the legs sooooo) and all ended up being fine.

The adjustment to my new role at work as a supervisor is still tough some days. I feel like I should just know things and sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s okay to not know things – it’s more than okay because I can ask questions and learn/grow. Just remember to write it down! <~ my other problem…

Yesterday I was able to finish all I needed to accomplish before today an hour before bedtime. Sometimes that just doesn’t happen – when it does… it feels amazing!! My addiction to productivity is showing, oops.

Today I lead a department meeting and I have my third class of Change Champions! I’m sure I’ll have more to talk about later this week!
